We are trying to reach the children who are not properly immunized at or by the age of 2.
We are trying to reach our kids who haven't had their measles immunizations. There were 7,000
measles cases (75 deaths) in California's 1998-1991 epidemic, 85% of which were immunized 1-4
year old's.
We are trying to reach our kids who haven't been immunized to pertussis. There were 1250
pertussis cases (4 deaths) in 1990-1992.
We are trying to reach our kids who haven't been immunized to rubella. There 840 rubella cases, 29
CRS cases in 1990-1992.
In short, we are trying to make a difference in the lives of our kids.
This program is made possible by you, our friends, members and the Landon Pediatric Foundation.
Come for the fun, for the rides, for the cotton candy and other goodies, but the free stuff may save the life
of someone you (and I) love.
